Vanessa Couto is a Life Purpose Coach, archetypal astrologer, and teacher.
In her work, she weaves mythology, fairy tales, Jungian psychology, and a good dose of practical and grounded common sense to guide her clients at their intersection of life purpose and livelihood. In addition to coaching, she teaches various classes and workshops.
Vanessa holds a B.A. in Social Communication and Advertising, an M.A. in Teaching from New York University, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis on Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and is a Certified Life Coach from the Life Purpose Institute.
Vanessa enjoys a little escape into British period dramas, history documentaries, or podcasts when not coaching or teaching.
Fascinated with Ancient and Medieval History, Celtic Spirituality, and Jane Austen heroines, she’s also a bona fide bookaholic, an oracle and tarot collector, and a travel lover.
Before making the Pacific Northwest her home with her husband and their two Gemini cats, she lived in Brazil, Cape Cod, New York City, with short stints in Oxford and Barcelona.
