The Red Thread reminds us where we come from
A lineage of love, and fire dancing on this earth since forever
Reminds us we are one people that we are bound by love
Our languages, skins, songs, sounds and symbols are unique
Yet no matter what we say or do the reality of our oneness remains
We are connected across the spaces the places, the faces, seasons and stars

The Symbol of the Red Thread...
Over the years, I have been a part of many circles, and then I came upon the way of the Red Thread.
What I love about the Red Thread is that it is a symbol of the primal connection we have with each other. One of the legends of the Red Thread is that we are already connected.
Imagine, if you will, each of us as babies connected to our mothers via the umbilical cord - that which gave us life. And our mothers, connected to their mothers via this red umbilical cord as well.
And in this way, across generations, time and space, all humans connected via this thread. And since we all came from the earth – our skin, bones, teeth, all are made up of elements on this planet -, so too are we connected via an umbilical cord to Mother Earth. That makes us all, in a very real sense, sisters.
Across all cultures, you'll find the symbol of the Red Thread. Here's one of my favourites: Ariadne's Red Thread as a symbol of the psyche and the individuation process.

Our Sacred Sister Agreements
This is a space for support, not of giving advice. This is a safe place to discover your own talents and gifts, as well as to give and receive encouragement as we create community.
Here, we get to hold space while you connect and share with one another. Share generously, as your stories and experiences may be exactly what another sister needs to hear today.
We're here to lift one another up with Heart, and these are our HEART Agreements:
Honour yourself for being Here, and for being a co-creator of the Heart-space in this circle.
Each person is Empowered to Express their truth and have their voices heard respectfully and attentively.
Acknowledge that all of you is welcome, and that you are Allowed to Arrive as you are.
Remember to Reserve judgment and Respect each person’s unique process.
Tune in and know that you can Tug on the Red Thread whenever you need extra support and love.
My Story
I was born into a family of sisters, and ever since I was a little girl, had an innate knowing of the power of sisterhood.
Unfortunately, because of the dysfunctional dynamics in my family of origin, it was difficult for me to feel safe and supported amongst other women.
Seeing jealousy and envy, competition and comparison, play out amongst my family and friends - this affected me deeply, and I grew up feeling a sense of danger when interacting with groups of women.
My survival instinct prompted me to stay small and safe, to play down who I really was so I wouldn't be regarded as a threat.
It was confusing for me, because I had a knowing that women genuinely supporting and celebrating one another is MAGIC, yet I wasn't experiencing it for the most part.
Much later, I understood that we have been steeped in a toxic patriarchal paradigm that does not support collaboration and co-creation. My determination to seek out a better way led me on a path of self-discovery and inner work.
Along the way, I joined spiritual communities and circles, but not all carried a holding or thoughtful space that enabled me to feel safe. I came to see that holding space is a skill that needs to be taught and learnt.
I thus became a Certified Circle Facilitator back in 2020 because I wanted to create the kind of sanctuary I had been looking for - a sisterhood where women who are united in their quest to come Home to themselves, can gather and arrive at a place of fearless belonging.
As I began my initiation into the secrets of the Red Thread, I was drawn into the beauty and magic that loving support with other women can bring. So, as we journey and spiral and interweave our energetic codes together in circle, there are profound teachings in the symbol of the Red Thread that I will be sharing with you.
The science shows that when we gather together in an intentional space, we get to weave our own threads to create a rich tapestry in our lives. By circling together, we get to amplify the power of our intentions. My hope is that through these circles I facilitate, new, powerful friendships will forge as we connect each of our red threads with one another.
