Why I Became A Coach
I still remember the first time I engaged a coach. I was nervous and excited, tentative yet hopeful. Back in 2017, and steeped in a marriage crisis, I was desperate to transform some long-standing behavioural and thought patterns that were getting in my way.
I had not realised that sustained and meaningful change requires a depth of reflection that is uncommon in today's run-about, always-chaotic world. Not to mention the level of self-deception I had in place, and which needed a skilful, non-judgmental coach to help me hold space and face.
I had thought that I "knew it all." After all, I'd done so much inner work already - meditating for well over a decade, practising energy healing, taking self-improvement courses, etc.
Fortunately, I had a skilful coach who journeyed with me as I navigated my marriage, my relationship with my family, my career, and my spiritual calling. I was surprised, again and again, by the insights that came up during our sessions.
This was when it hit me: Coaching needs to be for everyone!
I had hitherto relegated coaching as a developmental practice reserved for the privileged - only for elite athletes or top executives. And indeed, they seemed to enjoy enormous benefits from personal coaching: greater and greater levels of success, as well as significant self-actualisation.
As an educator, I was already feeling the rumblings of change that are sorely needed in conventional education. I soon realised that coaching is the way to go... indeed, it is already one of the world's fastest growing industries!
Unfortunately, the coaching profession is also incredibly unregulated. Time and again, I've heard from friends and clients who had had 'coaching,' but ended up suffering disquiet and distress from poorly trained, or uncertified and unqualified, coaches who lack competence and experience.
As a former schoolteacher, the same can be said: there are skillful teachers, and unskillful ones.
It's hard to find a coach you can truly trust, and I understand the frustration and agony when something that can be so transformational goes terribly wrong (Go here to read more about "What Should I Look For In A Coaching Relationship?").
Because coaching changed my life for the better, I became inspired to support other women in the same way. With a decade of experience in the education industry already under my belt, I further upskilled and obtained professional certifications in both Intentional Creativity Coaching and Results Coaching (ICF certified) so that I can be the Best at what I do. It is this level of quality and service that you can expect when we work together.
I truly believe that every woman deserves to have a coach who lovingly guides her as she emerges from her chrysalis and takes flight.

What Coaching Offers You
The word, 'coach,' is derived from the Hungarian name, 'Kocs,' which is named after a little village where horse-drawn vehicles, or coaches, have their roots. You can see coaching as a carriage that helps you get from where you are to where you desire to go.

Presence is a rare asset these days, and is a quality that carries exceptional value. To have someone who can listen - really listen beyond the words, and without judgment or the urge to give advice - is a skill that takes careful cultivation.
Coaching also requires the asking of powerful questions - ones that nudge you out of your current limiting beliefs, and provoke insights and revelations that change the rest of your life's trajectory. Again, skillful and precise questioning is an expertise that has to be honed and refined.
And there's more. Making aligned agreements and setting crystal clear intentions with the masterful guidance of a coach, who also provides accountability and support, is exponentially more powerful than going it alone.
